General FAQs

Majority of our plans are month to month via credit card, however we do accept EFT for once off payments. 

We are always looking for ways to help small businesses grow. It’s for that very reason that we offer website rental options, which give small business owners the freedom of having a fully working website without all the upfront costs. Feel free to contact us if you have budget constraints and we’ll gladly see if there is a way we can help.

Currently we don’t but we do have a very interesting internship program planned for the near future, so watch this space.

Yes, we offer website support for any website that is being rented from us or alternatively was developed by us and is on a care plan.

Domain FAQs

Absolutely, you have the right to transfer your domain between registrars. However there may at times be terms that prevent this from being possible for a certain time period e.g. when a domain is newly registered.

Once you have created a user account via our Clientzone, you will be able to put in a transfer request for any domain you’ve registered via the transfer domain option. Remember for security reasons most international domains will require an EPP/Authorization code to make this transfer happen. Local domains on the other hand, typically require your current registrar to simply unlock the domain for transfer upon your request.

Domains are leased and billed for annually. When registering a domain, you will be required to pay for the registration via credit card. If you elect to use our auto renew service, then this renewal fee will automatically be charged to this credit card once per year.

Neither. When registering a domain, you do not technically own it but instead become the domain name holder. This is because domains are leased, however you will have full legal right to the use of your domain name. 

Unfortunately not. When a domain name is registered it is leased for 1 year.  Should a different domain name be required, the previously registered domain will have to be canceled and the new required domain name will need to be registered.

Hosting FAQs

You can upgrade/downgrade your hosting plan directly from your client area. Simply navigate to your plan under the my services tab and choose the upgrade or downgrade option. Bear in mind hover that the upgrade/downgrade will only come into effect from the new billing month. Furthermore we will notify you and delay downgrades if your current requirements exceed the downgrade package limits. e.g. you are using more storage space than the package allows.

Typically our hosting services are month to month, however we do on occasion allow annual payments depending on the requirement but only by prior arrangement and at our sole discretion.

Simply put, bandwith is the amount of data your website can transfer to your users in a given amount of time.

Luckily most of our packages come with unlimited bandwidth. If you are however reaching the cap on our Basic package, don’t worry, your site won’t go down but will instead enter an “upgrade evaluation period” to monitor if an upgrade is required. At the end of this period we will advise if an upgrade is required due to increased usage.

This is the amount of hard drive space that will be allocated to you for storing your website on our server as well as your emails. 

If your storage runs out, you have two options. Option 1 would be to clear anything from your server that is no longer required to free up space. Option 2 would be to simply upgrade to a larger package. Remember all your emails that are not deleted will take up storage space.

Graphic Design FAQs

We work with all the major formats e.g. svg, pdf, jpg, png and more. So essentially It all depends on the job and the requirement, that being said the provided format(s) will be confirmed when we submit a quote for any given Graphic Design Job.

Generally we prefer to start artwork from scratch to ensure the design feels consistent throughout. That being said, if required we will gladly edit an existing design as long as it is not in breach of anyone’s copyright.

As with most creative endeavours, it all depends on the scope of the project. Generally majority of our graphic design projects take about 3 – 5 days for completion. We will however always communicate the timeline before taking on a project.

Web Design FAQs

There is no definitive answer here, as it all depends on the scope of the project e.g. how many pages, complexity, functionality, number of design elements, etc. That being said we always establish a timeline before taking on a project, so we will always confirm the build time before proceeding.

We encourage clients to rather let us build a brand new website for them whenever this is possible. Why? Simply because a fresh start will ensure that your website has no security vulnerabilities, is SEO friendly and optimized for performance. That being said, if a new website is not an option we are always willing to explore alterations on a case by case basis.

Referral Marketer FAQs

We want everyone to benefit from our referral marketing program, that being said there are a few requirements. You must be:
1. 18 years of age or older
2. A South African citizen
3. Have a South African bank account in your name to receive payment.
Simply go to the the referral marketing page and complete the application form.

We run our payments for referral marketers once a month on the 15th of every month for all withdrawal requests. That being said referral fees will only be payable once an order has been completed and paid in full by the client.

Your unique affiliate link does not expire and has unlimited uses for the duration of your referral account.
